September 2023 - The Hanged Man - Reversed

It's as if the universe is shining a light on my writer's block, revealing that I've been too preoccupied with others' perceptions and striving for perfection. In truth, I need to reconnect with the very essence of writing for myself.

Yet, it's vital for me to remember not to lose sight of myself, my unique style, and the heart of my narratives in the process.

In its simplest form, the Hanged Man Reversed suggests that hesitation may be driven by societal expectations. This card encourages introspection, urging us to examine what we're holding onto, what truly matters from where we began, and what it means to us.

Normally, the Hanged Man signifies letting go to move forward, but in its reversed state, it signifies holding on. For me, it's a call to return to my roots, to embrace authenticity over pretentiousness, and to remain true to myself.
